What Our Customers Write About Us on TripAdvisor:
We stayed for a week and had a really pleasant stay. The hotel has been beautifully renovated and is extremely clean and well maintained. The only negative is that the surrounding area around the hotel is shabby and a lot of the bars have been abandoned.
That said it is a short walk past the ‘run down’ street to the beach area and to the harbour.
The room was well appointed with a kitchen area and lounge with a separate bedroom and lovely bathroom with walk in shower. We upgraded our room on arrival to get a poolside view as the aspect towards the street was depressing overlooking an abandoned car park area. We were glad that we had done so because the sun in the evening was really lovely on the balcony.
We did not use the restaurant so can’t comment on the food but it was never too busy and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The location was really convenient for restaurants and plenty of choice of places to eat nearby.
Reception staff were always cheerful and happy to help.
Overall I can happily recommend the hotel especially if you want a self catering option - even though we dined out each evening. The facilities to cook were very good.
It is worth getting a pool view room if possible for the better aspect.
An amazing place we stayed in an apartment that came directly out onto the terrace. The team are helpful, friendly, and genuine. The only negative and it was minor was on checkout we had to
Wait around all day and the facilities to shower etc were poor in comparison to everything else. Honestly loved it and this year we are returning with 5 more families because of our reviews % Also the people, location and prices were great!
I stayed at Anemi with my husband, daughter and 2 grandchildren aged 16 and 14 for a week at end of June 2019: the hotel was fabulous, very relaxed, friendly, clean and nothing was a problem. The staff are friendly and helpful and food at the hotel was beautiful, plenty of sun beds, umbrellas and as we had executive suites, pool towels were included. The area around hotel was run down but a 5 min walk away and you are at the beach and harbour. Thank you again
Just spent 7 days at the anemi hotel & suites and was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel in general . We stayed in room 104 which is a superior apartment situated right above the reception area at the front of the hotel , the only disappointment was the balcony which didn’t provide any privacy regarding conversation & the view was of the side street . The Anemi had clearly had a refurbishment but I don’t think it deserves to be called a superior room , I’ve stayed in similar rooms which are standard . The staff were all very friendly , the breakfasts were €9 and were good value, draft keo was €3.50 which is reasonable for hotel prices , pool area very clean loads of comfy sun loungers . The area around the hotel is a bit run down but don’t let that put you off it really is a nice place to stay , If visiting pathos area again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again , but would ask for a pool view room
We were a little skeptical about booking this hotel but it was in an area that was covenant for us and walking distance to were we wanted to be .Surprise surprise !!!! the Property has undergone a renovation and the room are outstanding spotlessly clean amazing shower and bath towels ect ( we had previously been staying in a 5 star property on our last two visits) and the Anemi rooms are more than on a par with.
Breakfast was good and good variety a few niggles about fried eggs being cold but thats me being picky but apart from that more than enough to chose from
Sadly due to our schedule did not get a chance to try other facility's .
Staff were friendly and help full
Booked a wake up call for 4am but got it at 3am but at least we were awake !! but in general a great hotel and yes we will re stay here on our next trip in the new year
This is a lovely hotel . It’s situation is not the best. Walking either to the beach or to the harbour ( which are only 10-15 mins away) you do have to go past many buildings that were obviously affected by the economic crisis.
Look past this and you are near the evening activity, many tavernas, musical recitations at the castle and the obvious souvenir shops. The beach ( in opposite direction) is a blue flag, very safe for swimming.
We had an executive suite, these appear to all be on the 4th floor, the layout is spacious and well presented, ours overlooked the pool - well it did if you were stood up! The balconies are all 4 ft high, very dense fabric and dark grey - very safe if you have a child but when sitting down with a cuppa felt more like a prison!
There is a small kitchen area that provides a sink, kettle, crockery with tea and coffee with evaporated milk sachets. I would never have expected that once used you had to pay €4 to get them replenished, especially as neither of us drink instant coffee, not very executive!
The breakfast had a good choice of food including your cooked breakfast, continental array, breads and fruit. I am surprised that a hotel of this standard offers instant coffee for breakfast from a machine! I like to have fresh ground beans - this was a disappointment.
The staff could not be more accommodating, everyone has a smile, they go out of their way to help you.
I would return to this hotel if coming to Cyprus again.
